Our Philosophy

At Sacred Moments, we understand that receiving a cancer diagnosis is life-altering and deeply challenging. In 2022, one of our founders, Emma, was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35. Like many, she approached her diagnosis with mindfulness and a desire to find light in the darkest of times — yet the reality was that staying positive wasn’t always possible, and it didn’t need to be.

In moments of uncertainty and self-doubt, Emma often felt her emotions were short-lived. Because her treatment was successful, she felt an unspoken pressure to be grateful, to minimise her experience, and to remind herself that “it’s just hair” or that “others have it worse.” In doing so, her own feelings were often dismissed — not because they weren’t real, but because sitting with them felt too hard.

What Emma longed for was simple yet powerful: to be seen, heard, and acknowledged without guilt, comparison, or the pressure to hold everything together for those around her. From that need, she teamed up with her best friend Nat, a deeply intuitive holistic healer with a gift for nurturing body, mind, and spirit. Together, they brought the vision of Sacred Moments to life. Combining Emma’s lived experience with Nat’s healing expertise, their collaboration creates a space where people navigating a cancer journey can feel held, supported, and gently guided toward calm, clarity, and inner strength.

Our oracle and affirmation cards are designed to support people navigating a cancer diagnosis by offering space to pause, ground, and honour their emotions — exactly as they are. They are a gentle invitation to sit with what arises, reconnect with inner strength, and cultivate a positive mindset without forcing positivity.

A cancer diagnosis can feel like an emotional rollercoaster, often accompanied by fear, worry, and uncertainty. Our hope is that Sacred Moments brings calm to your days, lifts your spirit, and gently awakens the resilient inner warrior within you.

Why did we include the lotus symbol in our design?

The lotus is not born in calm waters, it forces its way through mud and darkness to reach the light.

Pushing through heaviness and resistance, it rises anyway. Against all odds, it reaches the surface and becomes exactly what it was always meant to be; strong, beautiful, resilient.

Not every flower can do this, most would wither where the lotus thrives.

Why did we designed our stunning Warrior Queens to look the way they do?

Our stunning Warrior Queens were deliberately designed to be bald or have short hair. While most queens and warriors we see typically have long, flowing locks, we wanted ours to reflect a different kind of bravery. Some of the bravest warriors are those who have lost their hair, have bald patches or those who's hair is slowly growing back.

Our Warrior Queens are deeply relatable, allowing you to see yourself in them. They have curves, strength, and hope shining in their eyes. They are beautiful, resilient, and radiant exactly as they are — a reminder that true power comes from authenticity, inner strength, and the journey you’ve walked.

When you look at these queens, we hope you see yourself reflected in them — fierce, courageous, and unshakeable, just as you are.

With love,
Em & Nat xox
